FIRST MAN ON THE MOON
Commemorative Record of Apollo 11 Flight

Where were you in July of 1969?  This was the year that Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin set foot upon the moon.  This is a commemorative record of the first words spoken by man on the moon and narrated by Hugh Downs.  The record was produced and manufactured by MGM Merchandising Corp., New York, N. Y. 10019.  It is record # PX-101 and the condition is good - both the record and paper sleeve.  The tape is on the plastic bag, NOT the cover.

The Ballad of Davy Crockett Record

In the 1950's kids could order premiums featuring their favorite characters usually by mailing a label plus 25 to the company.

This was true with Walt Disney's "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" and "Green Grow the Lilacs."  All it took was any part of a Peter Pan Peanut Butter label and 25.

Both the record and mailing envelope are in near mint condition.  The only date I found was on the envelope and it reads:  LYRICS COPYRIGHT 1954 - WONDERLAND MUSIC COMPANY
