The GIANT GOLDEN BOOK OF ELVES AND FAIRIES with assorted pixies, mermaids, brownies, witches and leprechauns is copyright 1951 by Simon and Schuster, New York .  Pictures are by Garth Williams.  This book has fantastic illustrations on every page and measures 13" high x 10" wide.  The corners and edges of the book are scuffed, the binding is tight, the inside of the book is in great condition.  There was a plastic coating on the book which has begun to peel off on the cover and spine.  There are no rips, tears or writing on this 76 page book.  This is a rare, hard-to-find book.  It is out of print.
