MOVIE GROOVIE

The year was 1969 and Barbie selected Movie Groovie #1866 to wear to the movie premiere. Today, all that is remaining in her closet is the long top with a silver lamé vest look with attached sheer, hot pink long sleeves and ruffled V neck as well as the A-line hot pink skirt. WINTER WEDDING

Like many brides, Barbie kept her wedding dress from 1969. But, alas, the headpiece, bouquet and shoes are long gone. The Winter Wedding #1880 dress of heavy brocade had a fitted bodice with long sleeves. Rabbit fur trimmed the neckline and cuffs. The flared skirt featured two front pleats at the waist and a braid-edged scalloped hem. The condition is good.
