Superman Cake Decorating Set

Wilton has always had some neat cake decorations and this one is no exception.  Superman and the buildings of Metropolis have never been removed from their pegs.  I found a date of 1976.

Ice Cream Spoon

I have always been told these were ice cream spoons. Perhaps they were used in ice cream stores for serving samples - like Baskin-Robbins does today with plastic spoons. The spoon is tin and measures 3 1/4" in length. Like all tin, it has darkened with age.

Yo-Yo

If you are a yo-yo collector OR a rabbit collector, you may want these two yo-yo's for your collection. They are 2" in diameter, quite colorful, and still have the strings. I know neither the age or the maker.

disneycandytin.JPG (24665 bytes)

Disney Candy Tin

This 5" in diameter candy tin was made in England exclusively for American Candy Manufacturing Co. Mickey, Minnie, Daisy and Donald are featured on the lid. Other Disney characters are depicted around the sides. This tin is pre-1986 and is marked Collectors Edition, Volume 11 on the bottom. There are a few minute scratches on the tin but you really have to look to see them.

smokycherryball.jpg (16269 bytes)

Smokey Cherry Ball

This is a store display card containing 33 packages of Smoky Cherry Balls. They originally sold for 10c each. Each package as well as the header is stamped with the following.

For Outdoor Use Only Under Adult Supervision - Do Not Hold In Hand - For Use As Emergency Smoke Signal - Caution - Do Not Use In Confined Space - Made In Japan - Mfd By Iwatsuki Mfg Co - Satsuma, Japan

I have no idea of the vintage, but I would guess late 1940's or 1950's. The condition of the display card or the individual packs is not the greatest what with curling edges and scuffed corners, but remember the age.
